Commentary and Observations
It seems as though the permits reached their artistic zenith in 1994-1995. Prior to those years, the artwork is simplistic. After that, the artwork was replaced with photographs. From 2005 to 2009, the firm plastic cards were replaced with flimsy paper cards.
Starting with 2009, they made no attempt to change the layout at all (other than the background photograph). Why? It would take even a half-talented individual 20 minutes to change the layout or font. But I suppose this is just another example of our "glorious" Indiana Department of Natural Resources hardly at work.
Prior Years Wanted!!!
I regret that I did not keep all of my Annual
Entrance Permits prior to 1991! If anybody has any that they could
loan to me (or just email me a scanned image) so that I may include it on this site, I will greatly appreciate it!
